Suhail Mohd Al Zarooni, Guinness World Record Holder, Chairman Al Zarooni Foundation & the Emirati Entrepreneur, Called upon His Excellency Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Ex- Chief Minister of Sindh, Pakistan. at his residence in Dubai. On this occasion, Suhail Al Zarooni hosted a courtesy Hi Tea in the honor of His Excellency Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Ex- Chief Minister of Sindh Province, Pakistan.
Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim, is the Ex-Chief Minister of the Government of Sindh. He belongs to District Mirpurkhas in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. He belongs to a family that has been in politics in Pakistan from its inception. Belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League, Dr Arbab was elected to the Sindh Provincial Assembly during the 2002 elections, and was initially inducted as a provincial minister. Subsequently, he was elected as the Chief Minister of Sindh in 2004 after defeating Engineer Gianchand Meghwar on PS-60 in General elections of 2002. Arbab acquired his high school education from Cadet College Petaro, and went on to study medicine at the Sind Medial College in Karachi.
During meeting with Suhail Al Zarooni, Dr Rahim shares his vision on the development of Sindh Province and his personal vision to achieve that. He said that undoubtedly, the most relevant challenge is to maintain the present atmosphere of security and serenity in the Province, in spite of the increasing turbulence of the region.
Furthermore, They both discussed ways on further foster cooperation as well as on the current cooperation, and shared views that how the Sindh Government is working on the charter plans to enhance better infrastructure in the region especially major infrastructure projects in Karachi including the construction of three flyovers. Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim also briefed Suhail Mohd Al Zarooni about the upcoming projects and interest shown by Chinese authorities, who have in principle approved inclusion in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) of three development projects in Sindh including the Karachi Circular Railways, Keti Bandar and Special Economic Zones (SEZs). The decision was taken in the 6th Pakistan-China Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting regarding CPEC held in Beijing.
Al Zarooni & Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim also discussed on Dubai hosting “Expo 2020”, which is an excellent opportunity for investors from all across the globe to learn, network and plan commercial grounds for their business in U.A.E among both Countries, UAE and Pakistan respectively.
The commitment and willingness between the Sindh, Pakistan and United Arab Emirtaes to move forward cooperation in various fields of mutual interest, both at bilateral and multilateral levels. Dr Rahim said that meeting like this is a symbol and a tangible instrument of friendship which enriches the Pakistan-UAE relations, He praised the UAE’s increasingly active role in the region and around the World. He thanked Zarooni for the meeting and also for his warm welcome.
